Who we are:

    A group of like-minded associates who have come together to offer conceptual and practical advice. Our associates come from a variety of backgrounds and have proven, mature reputations in the security domain backed up by qualifications and experience.  We are all seasoned practitioners first and foremost, and this informs our analysis and evaluation methodologies. 

 

What we’re good at:

    We work on maximising the efficacy of existing assets, looking at real-world scenarios to inform counter-measures instead of reaching for the catalogue. Our methodologies are in advance of, but complimentary to, standard risk management tools and concepts; this allows a genuine fresh look at your security situation. Our goal is to give you an opportunity to refine your costs and increase your effectiveness, simultaneously where possible, by thinking beyond the obvious and in advance of the generic.

 

What we don’t do:

    We don’t do ‘hard’ security tasks such as manpower provision, rolling analysis or embedded personnel; this keeps us independent and allows us to tackle problems without baggage. In other words, we don’t have a dog in the fight; we’re not here to sell on services or inject apprehension.

 

Robustness:

    We take the view that we’re not paid to lie or to dissimulate; so we’re keen to be frank and honest and this may require some acceptance of the unconventional. Of course, we may challenge embedded organisational mind-sets or personal beliefs; this is the nature of the beast but we do so in the spirit of collaboration and honesty with complete discretion.
